Heavy mining dump truck has become a kind of development trend because of its large transportation capacity,high production efficiency and good economy.However,the weight of heavy mining dump truck is relatively large,the production cost and fuel consumption are relatively high,so it is very important to study the lightweight design of heavy mining dump truck.In this thesis,firstly,in accordance with the research background of 280 t mining dump truck,analyzed the research situation of the vehicle at home and abroad,meanwhile,maked asummary of the research status about domestic and foreign lightweight technology.Combined with the requirements of the project team,introduced the purpose of this study and research significance,then,given the research contents.Secondly,the overall arrangement of the vehicle was determined,the overall parameters and the structure of the vehicle were given.According to the overall design requirements of the vehicle,the basic structure of the main parts of the mine dump truck was determined.On the basis of this,a lightweight research method was proposed for the 280 t mine dump truck,and the design of the vehicle was carried out by using the structural optimization design method.The new structure was applied to the structural design.Then,according to the structural characteristics of the parts in the preliminary design of the vehicle,the overall scheme of the lightweight research was put forward.The preliminary design of the walking mechanism under different assembly methods was carried out,and the finite element simulation was carried out to determine the optimal assembly method in the walking mechanism.After the initial structure of the final assembly method was determined,a topological optimization design method was proposed for the design requirements and structural characteristics of the drive axle housing,and the topology optimization design of the walking mechanism was carried out.The new structure was established and its finite element analysis was carried out.The results show that the new structure meets the requirements of strength and stiffness,and the weight loss was 32.3%,which indicates that the lightweight design was effective.Finally,the basic size parameters of the frame were determined by theoretical calculation and design experience,and the integrated fuel tank volume is verified.The finite element model of the frame is established,and the balanced suspension structure of the multi-axle vehicle is simulated.The finite element analysis of the structure was carried out to determine whether the strength and rigidity meet the requirements.When the size was optimized,the longitudinal beam and the beam were parameterized respectively,and the new structure was established according to the optimization result.The new structure meets the strength and stiffness requirements and Lightweight effect was remarkable.In this thesis,through the research on the lightweight of the walking mechanism and the frame,and the lightweight research methods of the two methods also provide some reference value for the research of the same type of structure.
