As the primary energy(coal,oil,natural gas,etc.)are converted into secondary energy(steam)important power equipment of boiler in modern industrial production has been more and more widely used,and in petroleum,chemical,electric power industry,such as boiler has become an important and indispensable in the process of its production equipment.Considering the running environment of boiler is complex,which requires the master must improve the level of the boiler control system.In order to improve the thermal efficiency of boiler,the control system for the boiler operation process should be more reasonablely monitored,Therefore,it is of great significance to improve the boiler's automatic monitoring system and improve the safety of the boiler and ensure the efficient operation of the equipment.Contraposing the boiler control system of the coal company named wajinwan,this project aim to control on the basis of PLC,combining with the configuration software called KingView.The main contents of the paper are as follows:(1)This paper expounds the research background and significance of research of this paper,analizing the current domestic and foreign development on the present situation and development trend of boiler control,also compares the instrument control,PLC,DCS and FCS in four different ways of boiler control,this paper expounds the advantage of PLC control method on cost and function(2)The structure of the boiler,boiler process,and the requirements of the control task help us how to chose the boiler control system of PLC control unit module,analog module,digital unit module,configuration perform instrumentation,sensors,etc.andtake the use of the STEP programming software to finish boiler control system design,including water temperature control procedures,steam pressure control,grate control program,fan control,etc.(3)In view of the reasons of large load changes and many environmental interference factors,it is difficult to achieve precise control.The BP neural network is introduced to adjust the PID parameters on line to improve the existing PID algorithm,and the simulation of the algorithm is also carried out.(4)By the use of Likong software,configuration monitoring menu design is possible to finish,it also can be to realize the interface of the system,real-time monitoring,control parameter setting and adjustment,data management and sharing,security management,and other functions.(5)STEP7 software is used to complete the establishment of system communication network,and the communication between PLC and configurationsoftware is realized through industrial Ethernet.The control system of the steam boiler is designed,installed and tested,and has been put into use.The operation results show that the system has good control effect and meets the expected requirements well.
