At present,China's passenger car market independent brand SUV has sprung up and become the main vehicle with the sedan.At the same time,the domestic independent brand automobile enterprises pay more and more attention to the automobile modelling design as well as technological innovation.The era of rational consumption,large consumer goods as cars,brand and beautiful design has become an important factor affecting consumption in the same circumstances technology.Through research the development processes and brand culture characteristics of Chery,illustrating the inner connection between the form design and the brand image-building of the car,we explore the body shape representation of the SUV with Chinese culture.At the same time,a concept SUV design practice is carried out based on the design concept of Chery Tiggo.The design scheme,based on the combination of modern automobile modeling technique and new Chinese aesthetics,condensed the design language of Chery family,integrated its brand elements,applied the method of combining product form related theory to complete the automotive modeling design with distinctive features.In the process of design practice,combining the design concept of "Life in motion" and the family design language of Chery,we should innovate the layout of the front face,deliberate repeatedly on the profile cross and the line change and try to design the shape of the aesthetic orientation of the Chinese and the aesthetic habits of the consumers,which can provide a useful reference for the appearance design of the independent brand car.Through the research of the Chery branded home concept car styling design,it effectively unifies the product image,constructs the Chery family features,and forms the Chery brand design concept,providing a paradigm for the future development of local car design.
