Indirect Matrix Converter is an AC/AC converter without DC energy storage components.It has the advantages of adjustable input power factor,high quality input and output waveforms,four-quadrant operation,etc.It is suitable for application in embedded systems,ship propulsion,motor drive and renewable energy fields.In this paper,the circuit design and control strategy are studied and improved to improve the system performance.In this thesis,the commutation process of IMC is analyzed in detail,and the commutation circuit is defined.In order to avoid voltage spikes and voltage stress of the devices increases,which make the power devices invalid and damaged,the basic principles of circuit design are established by using the electromagnetic field theory calculation method,and a circuit optimization design scheme is proposed based on this,including optimizing the bus structure,wiring method,wiring position and line size,so as to reduce the stray parameters of the commutation circuit.The 3D model of IMC is established by ANSYS Q3D software,and stray parameters of converter circuit are extracted to evaluate and verify the optimal design scheme.In order to improve the quality of the net-side current waveform of indirect matrix converter,which based on the space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM)strategy,the idea of pulse center of gravity is introduced,the influencing factors of net-side current harmonics are analyzed,and the components and contents of harmonics under different pulse width distributions are determined.By constructing the mathematical model of the net side current harmonic,the pulse width distribution law to reduce the harmonic is explored,and the harmonic minimum pulse sequence is proposed,thus suppressing the net side current harmonic.In this thesis,an IMC experimental platform is designed and built,and a double pulse experiment is carried out to test stray parameters of the converter circuit.Simulation and experimental results show that the circuit optimization design scheme and the network side current harmonic suppression method proposed in this paper are correct and effective.
