Research On Building Form Generation Method Oriented By Environmental Factors

In the field of architecture research,the study of architectural form has always been a very important aspect.Throughout the history of architecture,when architects control the architectural form,they consider not only the beauty of the building itself,but also the logical relationship between the architectural form and other factors,such as function,material,technology and political and cultural factors.However,apart from these factors,the architectural form is closely related to the external space in which it is located.Many architectural theories and ideas are concerned about the impact of the external space on the architectural form,emphasizing the harmony between the building itself and the surrounding environment.Therefore,how to control the formation of the whole architectural form in the architectural design,guided by the external space of the building,is a question worthy of our consideration.Based on the background of the former Union House(school canteen)base on the campus of Melbourne University,this paper analyses the external space of the base and the possible impact of the new building on the external space,and designs the new teaching building in the base.The following are the research purposes of this paper:(1)Through the investigation of the external space of the building(mainly the surrounding green space),we can find out what impacts the future built buildings may have on the external space.(2)Through the analysis of the pros and cons of these possible impacts,we can deduce how to determine the form of the building in order to reduce the adverse impact of the built building on the external space,so that the building and the surrounding environment can live in harmony as far as possible.(3)Through the analysis and design,this paper explores how to control the formation of the form of the building in the direction of the external space of the building,and forms the design logic and methodology with reference significance.The paper is divided into the following parts:(1)The first chapter is the introduction,which firstly introduces the research background,purpose and significance of this topic,determines the research object and defines the relevant concepts.Secondly,it introduces the main research contents and research methods-theoretical research,case study and analysis and field research.(2)The second chapter is the project overview part,which mainly introduces the project background of the design of this topic,carries on the analysis of the preliminary overview of the design project,including the analysis of design motivation,location and base,and puts forward the possible difficulties of the design.(3)The third chapter is the design research part.This part mainly analyses some domestic and foreign related architectural practice cases,and preliminarily explores the design method of this design-using shadow analysis to get the maximum accommodation volume of the building and the optimization of the architectural form based on the quality of the external space of the building.(4)The last part is the application and process of the design method.This part mainly elaborates how to apply the design method initially explored in the previous chapter to the design,and deepens the design to a certain extent,including the design of the vertical traffic inside the building,the design of the facade of the building and the functional allocation of the building.Finally,it shows the design results(effect drawing,plane drawing,elevation).Maps and profiles,etc.The whole thesis contains about 15 000 words,88 pictures and charts.
