The railway line is the location line of the space center of the railway engineering structure.It is the main body of the fixed infrastructure of the railway.It has the characteristics of large area,complex construction,high cost and not easy to reconstruct.In order to make the operation of railway line design more convenient and reduce the error rate,the BIM(Building Information Model)technology,which has the characteristics of digital modeling and Information Association,can be used to assist the railway line design.At present,the application of the technology in China's railway line design has not been popularized,but its application in railway line design will become an inevitable trend.This paper tries to explore the application potential and value of AutoCAD Civil 3D in the railway line design in the BIM family,and to explore the agreement point with the railway industry and apply it to the railway line design.On the one hand,based on the needs of the project of Yixian to Chaoyang section railway expansion project in Jinzhou-Chengde line,the feasibility of the application of BIM technology in the railway line design is analyzed on the basis of fully understanding the development of the domestic railway line design and the research status of BIM technology at home and abroad.On the other hand,the practical application of the needle to the expansion project of the Jincheng line is Civil.The advantages of 3D in railway line design are high efficiency line dynamic design,visual line model construction and parameterized digital model design.Finally,combined with engineering practice,Civil 3D technology is applied to the design practice of each stage of the expansion project of Cheng Jin line Yixian to Chaoyang railway,and the concrete research results are as follows:(1)railway plane The line's Civil 3D design.The 3D terrain surface of the line is established,and the line model is generated,and the complete plane line is generated by combining multi segment lines and primitives.(2)the design of the longitudinal section map of the railway line.Based on Civil 3D technology,the vertical section is designed in the vertical section,and then the line model is generated after the assembly design is completed.(3)the railway line cross section design,and then undertake the plane line and the longitudinal section line to complete the whole line design,the dynamic simulation of the 3D model is generated by the line model.The research results show that the railway line design based on Civil 3D has the characteristics of synchronization,visualization and high efficiency,and it can assist railway line selection design.
