Research Of The Development Of Beibu Gulf Port Logistics And The Foreign Trade Of The Southwest Provinces

With the speeding up of economic globalization,the global economy increasingly forming a flowing river,more and more production and business activities and resources allocation need to coordinate in the global scope,and the ports as the most popular mode of transportation in the world-the transit point between the shipping and the other mode of transportation,have played an more and more heavy important role in the process of economic.In today's logistics system,the port has become a major link in the integrated transport chain,becoming a significant point in the development of modem logistics industry.Port logistics as a information modern logistics service system,is an important impetus to promote economic development of the port hinterland region,therefore,the scholars of port logistics and regional economic research is also very extensive.The research on the relationship between port logistics and regional economy has become a hot issue in academia.This paper through out the studies of the coordinated development of Beibu gulf port logistics and its hinterland southwest five provinces.In terms of the object of research,the Beibu gulf port and the ministry of foreign trade of its hinterland southwest five provinces has been chosen.Through analysis and consideration,under the expectation of the coordinated development of port logistics and inland foreign trade,the problems existing in the development of Beibu gulf port and its hinterland southwest five provinces are discussed.It is concluded that there is no obvious correlation between port logistics in Beibu gulf and the coordinated development of foreign trade in the hinterland.The system of coordinated development of Beibu gulf port and hinterland foreign trade is still in its infancy.To promote the coordinated development of port logistics of Beibu gulf and the foreign trade of southwest hinterland,regional economic cooperation must be further strengthened,plans of the depth of the waterway,the distribution network and the construction of the dock are made on.The port costs must be reduced and ocean-going routes more intensive.Gradually changing the inferior position of Beibu gulf port in southwest China can reduce the diversion of Guangzhou port,Zhanjiang port and so on.
