With the idea of environmental protection,more and more people take care of tram.And more professional people begin to research and study the tram.It can go through the road whatever has catenary section.Not only the tram can get power in catenary section but also can get power from energy storage in catenary free section.The drivers can switch the different conditions freely to operate the tram.In this dissertation,it puts forward the opinion which takes use of bidirectional converter to deal with charging and discharging of super-capacitor.Make sure the tram go through catenary free section.Meanwhile it calculates the detailed data of traction system and designs the related topology circuit.And discuss the prototype of circuit and simulate the parameter compared to rated data.First of all,it states the accurate demand of traction system including universal technical specification and power stack specification and torque specification.Then according to the demand it analysis and discuss how to realize it.And determine each module of power.With the engineering experience of project,it determines the overall design input.Secondly,it comes out the detailed design for the main circuit of electric traction system,inverter circuit,bidirectional converter module.Through the detailed data it constitutes the vehicle electric traction system.According to the commonly used in engineering practice,the function of each module are analyzed,and the topology structure design,meet the technical requirements of the traction system of the train.Thirdly,it calculates the rated parameter of super-capacitor and reactance and buffer capacitor and IGBT and AC motor.According to parameters of each module of the electric traction system,it has carried on the selection of electrical components and elements and devices.It adopts the scheme and prototype which to be proved it is feasible.On this basis,it provides a good proof to the design for train traction system.Based on results it sets up some test station after theoretical simulation.Finally,the devices of the traction system will be assembly as actual wiring on the test station.Each module of the super capacitor,Buck-Boost circuit,traction inverter,motor has such the waveform test,and the core data was collected and analyzed.Devices will be manufactured and install to train,to carry on the main line,to collect the relevant data and waveform,validate the correctness of theoretical analysis and engineering design.At last,it adopts the actual curve to verify the dissertation is reasonable and reachable.
