The adhesion of asphalt-aggregate interface is the key factor to determine the performance of asphalt pavement.By studying the effect of Chloride Erosion on the adhesion of asphalt-aggregate interface,it is of guiding significance to the service life of the asphalt pavement in the coastal areas of Beibu gulf.This paper uses the salt spray test chamber,under the condition of the single variable of chlorine salt concentration,temperature and chlorine salt erosion time,tosimulatechloride corrosion onbase asphalt,SBS modified asphalt and TLA modified asphal.And then test the basic properties of asphalt after chloride corrosion,the softening points of the three kinds of asphalts increase with the increase of chloride concentration,temperature and chloride corrosion time,while the penetration decreases and the asphalt hardens.The asphalt-aggregate interface model was prepared by simulating the bond between asphalt and aggregate.With the help of WDW3100 microcomputer controlled electronic universal testing machine.The results show that the tensile strength decreases and the strain increases of 70#matrix asphalt,SBS modified asphalt and TLA modified asphalt-aggregate interface after chloride attack.The adhesion work was obtained by drawing test results of asphalt-aggregate interface model,it was found that the adhesion of three asphalt aggregate interface models decreased after chloride attack.The splitting test of base asphalt,SBS modified asphalt and TLA modified asphalt mixture under chlorine salt erosion was carried out.We can find out the splitting strength decreases with the increase of chloride concentration,temperature and Chloride Erosion time,while the tensile failure strain increases.Compared with the drawing test results of asphalt-aggregate interface,the trend of splitting strength is related.The test proves that chloride corrosion has a bad effect on the adhesion between asphalt and aggregate,and the adhesion decreases.
