Structures that are made of the flexible composite material have many advantages of light weight,folding,small launch volume,low cost,reliable work and so on,which have a wide range of applications in many large space structures,such as space antennas,airships,solar panels,aerated satellites.But because the space experiment of space inflatable deployment structure is very expensive,the ground experiment of inflatable structure is difficult to simulate the actual space working environment,and the microgravity and vacuum environment is also difficult to achieve simultaneously in larger space,so it is very necessary to use the computer to simulate the inflatable process of the space inflatable structure.In this paper,the inflatable process of space airbag by gas of gas generator is used as the research object,a space airbag inflatable system is designed,the gas generator model of interior ballistics is calculated to get the temperature change of combustor and flow characteristics of nozzle gas that will be used as power source of airbag deployment,CV method and ALE method is used to modeling and simulate the airbag deployment process.The variation of various parameters in the process of space airbag inflatable process is obtained.This paper mainly contains the following aspects of the research content:1.An airbag inflatable system is designed,and classical interior ballistics program is compiled.The combustor temperature,pressure,percentage of the burning of gunpowder and the mass flow rate of the nozzle are obtained through theoretical calculation,combustor temperature and mass flow curve of the nozzle mass will be used as the entrance boundary condition for the inflation of the balloon.2.The paving and folding model of airbag is established.We use fabric material to build the airbag model,and use the system self-contained folding tool to fold the airbag.In order to simulate the airbag by the ALE method,the airbag outflow field grid is also needed.3.Combustor temperature and nozzle mass flow data of gas generator is used as the entrance boundary condition for the simulation calculation of airbag deployment.The CV method and ALE method is separately used for the numerical simulation analysis of the inflatable process of the paving airbag and the folding airbag.4.To further discuss the effects of characteristic parameters of the gas generator,the curve of combustor temperature and mass flow curve of the nozzle is calculated and used as the entrance boundary condition of the airbag inflatable process.The CV method is used to simulate the inflatable process of the folding airbag to get the volume,kinetic energy,pressure and other parameters of the airbag deployment process.The effects of the different characteristic parameter such as charge mass and nozzle diameter on the airbag deployment are analyzed.
