Landscape Design Of Huaxia Flora Geopark In Yuzhou, Henan Province

China is a big country with geological relics resources.There are various kinds of geological relics resources which have very high aesthetic and important scientific value,belonging to the "double-high" geological relics resources and becoming the main landscape of geological tourism in the geopark.In addition,there are larges number of geological relics have only scientific connotation and high popular science value with low aesthetic ornamental value,belonging to "one high and one low type" geological relics resources.So,the problem of the development of geological tourism is how these unique scientific geological relics resources transform into geological popular science tourism resources.This paper,based on the landscape design of Huaxia Botanical Group Geopark in Yuzhou,Henan Province,expounded the principles,the expression methods of scientific value and the methods of design and display followed in landscape design of "one high one low type" geopark,by summarizing from theory and method.Consequently,some conclusions concluded.First of all,the scientific value landscape design of geological relics must be based on the unique characteristics of geological relics resources in the park,and facilities planning and popular science routes should be combined with the theme of the park.Secondly,the design concept should be used in combination with principles,expressive techniques and display methods to achieve the goal of protecting geological heritage resources and displaying the characteristics of geological parks.Huaxia Flora Geopark in Yuzhou,Henan Province,uses many methods to design the landscape,and achieves excellent results.Firstly,the appearance of the museum is designed with the section structure of Yuzhou coal-bearing strata and the internal exhibition hall highlights local features with the themes of life evolution and Permian mass extinction.Secondly,the ancient ecological garden of Cathaysian flora about 250 million year ago was constructed based the Dafengkou wetland in Yuzhou.Thirdly,the site of fossil plants should be protected and appropriate excavation and protection should be taken to prevent weathering and man-made destruction.Fourthly,the original preservation of coal seam and plant fossil layer should be exhibited in the construction of ancient Cathaysian Botanical Heritage Park.Fifthly,secret explorations in Wujin were conducted based on the proper renovation of some safe abandoned mines.At last,popular science travel routes with the theme of searching,exploring and returning to Permian,interspersed exhibition halls,popular science squares,mysterious sites,etc.,creating a vivid Permian life landscape.Accordingly,the scientific value of the geological relics in the park has not only been displayed and reasonably developed,but also highly appraised by the acceptance experts of the geological park.At the same time,the economic and social benefits brought by popular science tourism will gradually emerge.
