Along with the economic development, the traffic is increasingly busy, the traffic pressure on the road surface is increasing day by day and the pavement wear situation is getting worse and worse. As the main parameter of cement road surface, the wear of grooves will lead to the decrease of friction and drainage performance, which will directly affect the safety of roads. The existing detection technologies are more aimed at the detection of road cracks and other pavement diseases, and the judgment of road wear is mostly by artificial or experience. Therefore,to form a complete cement road wear detection and prediction system is the future development requirement.Based on the current pavement wear research, this paper selects the running state of the tire, groove spacing, groove depth and groove width as the influencing factors to build a wear prediction model.Firstly, the finite element analysis(FEA)software ABAQUS is used to build tire and road simulation models respectively,in which the tire model is constructed by using the axisymmetric rotation function, and three motion states(freeroll, braking and traction)are simulated respectively. At the same time, making the groove spacing, width and depth as variables to build 150 groups road surface model with different groove sizes, and this paper uses the method of equivalent acting area to simulate the tire-road contact effect. And then, based on the Archard abrasion theory, the simulated pavement wear under various parameters is calculated.By using SPSS,Origin and MATLAB,the correlation and partial correlation between each influencing factors and wear are analyzed, and based on this, the different kinds wear prediction models(Multiple Linear Regression, multielement non-linesr regression and BP nerve network)in different motion states are constructed respectively. At last, the modified wear prediction model is obtained by adding the adjustment coefficient, and the modified prediction model is verified by combining the laser method and sand spreading method. It is found that the road surface is mainly subject to the longitudinal and vertical wear, and the traction state has the greatest effect on the pavement wear. The tire states only affects the value of groove wear, but not changes the variation trend. The groove spacing is negatively correlated with the wear, while the groove width and depth are positively correlated with the wear. The influence degree of groove depth on the wear is the largest and the groove width is the smallest. The pavement wear affected by the number of action is much larger than the wear affected by force at the groove apex angle place. The actual traffic situation will affect the pavement wear prediction, and by introducing traffic volume, road grade, road location and other compensation factors, the modified prediction model can predict the actual pavement wear effectively.
