With the rapid development of building curtain wall engineering industry,the competition among construction curtain wall engineering enterprises has become more and more fierce.Then,more stringent requirements have been put forward for the project cost management of these enterprises,and advanced cost management ideas have entered the building curtain wall industry.But in the construction projects of building curtain wall engineering enterprises,it is more because the project managers have not established a perfect cost management system before the project construction,which leads to the low cost management efficiency of the whole project at all stages,and brings various direct and indirect losses to many building curtain wall engineering enterprises.Therefore,for the construction curtain wall engineering enterprises,solving the cost management problems they are facing has become the top priority.The S curtain wall project contracted by Shanghai BJ Company began construction in May,2008.Based on the basic understanding of the project,the cost management status of the project is analyzed.It is found that the main problems are the formation of a perfect cost management system which combines responsibility and right,the absence of reasonable and effective cost control measures,and the weak control over all kinds of expenses.Five problems,such as weak dynamic cost management,lack of perfect project cost budget management system and so on,are found to be caused by inadequate human-based management of project cost control,lack of cost management concept of construction project managers,neglect of project quality cost management control and cost management.The related supporting system is not perfect and so on four aspects.At the same time,according to the description of project cost management problems and reasons,this paper puts forward the corresponding improvement strategies of S curtain wall project cost management of Shanghai BJ Company,mainly including the establishment of a perfect cost management system combining responsibility and right,the establishment of reasonable and effective cost control measures,the strengthening of the control of various types of costs,and Strengthen dynamic cost management,establish perfect project cost budget management system,strengthen human-oriented management,establish cost management consciousness,strengthen quality cost management and establish and improve the cost management related supporting system,in order to continuously improve the cost management level of S curtain wall project of Shanghai BJ Company.Through the study of cost management in the whole process of S curtain wall project,it is found that project cost management control should run through the whole construction process,that is,construction preparation,design bidding,construction stage,and completion and acceptance stage.Therefore,the construction curtain wall engineering enterprises must apply the cost management method to the whole process of construction projects,in order to fully guarantee the realization of their project objectives,reduce all kinds of direct and indirect costs occurring in the process of the project,so as to continuously enhance the economic profits of the project.In addition,the cost management system of A curtain wall project of Shanghai BJ Company proposed in this paper has certain guiding significance and value for other similar enterprises to solve similar problems.
