Shipbuilding is a large-scale and complex process technology project.It has a long construction period,high construction costs,and a high degree of specialization.With the development of large-scale,automation and specialization of ships,the market demand for the shipbuilding industry is growing.China's shipbuilding industry is constantly advancing and developing with the increasing demand.However,compared with the international shipbuilding power,there is still a large gap in the quality and management of shipbuilding in China.In the traditional shipbuilding industry,the single-factor deviation analysis method is often used to control the progress and cost of the ship construction process.However,there are many defects in the control and control work under this method,and the changes to the cost and schedule cannot be made in time.The reaction will lead to a series of problems such as serious waste of resources,budget overruns,and delays in the construction period.In order to ensure the orderly and smooth development of the ship construction project,it is necessary to effectively manage the progress and cost of the shipbuilding execution process.Therefore,this method of earned value management is widely used in engineering projects.By periodically checking the actual progress of the construction project,discovering adjustment measures,and modifying the original plan,the entire shipbuilding process can receive real-time feedback and improvement,and improve efficiency and quality of shipbuilding.This thesis starts with the definition,basic parameters,index system and application process of the earned value management,and analyzes the current production management modes and methods adopted by the shipbuilding company to organize the management structure,production process,including annual plans,monthly plans,and schedules.The schedule management content including the plan is the object of analysis,summarizing the problems existing in the current project schedule management.Further,using the schedule of a ship's hull and specific project reports as examples,the method of earned value management is used to establish a shipbuilding project schedule management model based on the earned value theory,and relevant parameters and indicators of earned value management are calculated,and deviation analysis and real-time analysis are performed.Regulate and compare the results obtained using the earned value management method with the original plan.The actual workload after the use of earned value management is more than the original planned workload,and through continuous comparison for several weeks,the project progress continues to accelerate,indicating that the application of earned value management in the shipbuilding process has a good effect and can better control costs and progress.
