Micro unmanned aerial vehicle(MUAV)has been a hot point in the area of automatic control in recent years,thanks to its potential applications in multiple areas,such as military,rescue,aerial photography,and remote sensing.As an important part in MUAV,the actuator is not only an actuating mechanism but also a major component in the flight and control system.It's performance impacts on flight control system performance and flight safety directly.This paper takes reference in the previous research.A new type of BLDCM with high-power,high torque,small size is introduced,which meets the UAV's requirements to the torque,speed and volume.In the aspect of improving the controller's performance,a feed-forward fuzzy self-tuning PID cascade control algorithm was proposed to solve the actuator's stability and control performance degradation problems when the torque changed in large scale.In addition,DSP-based digital servo system prototype was built to solve the UAV's actuator selection,which is of great engineering significance.The innovation of this paper lies in its engineering applications.On one hand,DSP and the feed forward fuzzy self-tuning PID cascade controller were used in the actuator.With the application of DSP,the actuator was easy to realize the advanced control algorithms(such as fuzzy control)and to improve the performance comprehensively.In addition,by analyzing the force of control surface,the accurate model of the hinge moment is obtained,then use feed forward controller to compensate the variable torque's impact on the speed loop,On the other hand,principle prototype of the actuator was designed and developed.With simulation design,hardware production,software programming,test analysis,in order to provide necessary reconnaissance for developing a practical type models.
