A gasoline fuel vehicle has a problem of piston burning and spark plug side electrode melting in the powertrain matching.This test failure has caused great difficulties in vehicle matching and engine development,which not only delays the development progress of the engine,but also It has a certain impact on the listing of the entire vehicle.In order to solve this problem,the author consulted a large number of literatures related to piston melting,and carried out a large number of test and verification,and finally solved the problem of piston burning in the vehicle matching by optimizing the water jacket structure of the cylinder and optimizing the spark plug.The engine was successfully developed to ensure the smooth launch of the complete engine..In the whole process of the test,we applied the fishbone diagram exclusion method,and the cause of the piston melting was initially locked into knocking.Then artificially create a knock to reproduce the fault.In this regard,we use the same method to verify the knock factor,and found that the cylinder water jacket and spark plug have defects in the design matching,which will make the engine easy to produce knock.Therefore,we changed the structure of the water jacket and spark plug of the cylinder block and optimized it by CFD analysis to confirm that the optimized structure is reasonable.At the same time,the spark plug heat value was re-matched to confirm that the optimized spark plug heat value is better than the previous spark plug.The earthquake played a certain role.In addition,secondary ignition of the ignition coil can also cause the piston to melt.To this end,we optimized the internal chip of the ignition coil to ensure that it does not undergo secondary ignition.Finally,we conducted a comparison test of the relevant knock strength indicators for the optimized water jacket and spark plug before and after the optimization,which proved that the optimized cylinder water jacket and spark plug played a great role in reducing the knocking strength.
