Since the 1990 s,the living standard in China has been continuously improved,and cars have become an important part of people’s life.At the same time,people’s requirements for automobile also gradually improved from function to performance.Transmission is one of the important components of vehicle,each OEM for its NVH(Noise,Vibration and Harshness)performance are also put forward higher requirements.Among them,the transmission whining noise is the most difficult NVH problem to solve.In this paper,research a solution to improve the NVH performance of a transmission especially for whining noise.First of all,to research of gear parameter design,because the transmission is matching to vehicle,and the gears are the most important of the transmission,so,the design rationality of macroscopic and microscopic parameters of gears in NVH performance has a direct effect on the vehicle.The simulation analysis and validation will base on the calculated data.Second,by using Romax Designer,software for simulation analysis of transmission.Analysis of the gear contact pattern and transmission error under load conditions and the mode of housing,to get the gears parameters.Again,through bench test and vehicle test to verify the actual NVH performance of transmission sample,found that big different between actual samples test results and the ideal results,based on the results as the actual validation,process gear profile modification,adjust the tooth surface contact area.Finally,to verify the optimized transmission performance,compared the data before and after,found the NVH performance has significant improvement,reached the design target.This paper to research how to improve the NVH performance of transmission,and get an effective solution for whining noise.
