Rectifier is a widely used power electronic device.Currently,there are two types of rectifiers used in industrial applications,such as conventional rectifiers and bidirectional PWM rectifiers.The disadvantage of the traditional rectifier is that it will produce a large number of harmonics of the pollution grid,low input power factor,and low voltage transmission.The disadvantage of the bidirectional PWM rectifier is that it needs large-capacity energy storage components,the cost and volume are very high,and four-quadrant operation cannot be achieved.In this paper,matrix rectifiers are studied for these known problems.The matrix rectifiers are developed from the topology structure of matrix converters.They have the advantages of energy bidirectional flow,good sinusoidality,and adjustable input power factor.In this paper,taking the matrix rectifier topology as the starting point,the space vector modulation and the four-step commutation method are adopted as the control strategy and the commutation strategy.The main problems of these two matrix rectifiers are analyzed and studied.The computer simulation platform Matlab/simulink was used to establish the simulation model of the matrix rectifier control system.The input and output characteristics of the matrix rectifier were analyzed and studied.The simulation results verify the accuracy of the designed input filter parameters,and the phase shift generated by the input current is compensated by adjusting the power factor angle.A double closed-loop speed control system model based on matrix rectifier is designed.Through a large number of simulation experiments,the characteristics of the entire system of the DC motor under different operating conditions are simulated,and it is fully verified that the double closed-loop speed control system model based on the matrix rectifier can realize the DC motor.The four-quadrant operation,energy can be fed back to the grid,adjustable power factor,and fast dynamic response.With DSP chip as the core and with FPGA,the hardware of the matrix rectifier was designed and the idea of software design was provided,which laid the foundation for the next experiment.
