With the rapid development of social economy,there is higher demand for the electric energy,in terms of its safety,reliability and high quality.The substation,as the core of electric energy convergence and control,is playing an indispensable role in providing reliable electricity.With the deepresearch of the smart power grid,substation technology has gone through the transition from conventional substation to integrated substation and then to digital substation.The key equipments of substation,such as protection,control and computer monitoring system,have undergone rapid updating,and the network structure of substation has been constantly adjusted and optimized.The network communication technology adopted in the digital substation must meet the requirements ofinformation transmission time and bandwidth in the substation transaction system,and should be adapted to the development trend of the primary and secondary equipment depth integration technology.This paper first consults the literature and other material to collect the data of the equipment operation of current smart substation and acquire a large amount of information.Then the intelligent equipment,network structure and switchboard technology are analyzed.According to the existing problems,this paper puts forward the optimization scheme of "three layers one network" based on the research of the network modes,network topology comparison and switchboard configuration.Next,the network performance of "three layers two networks" and "three layers one network" in "steady state",relay protection action and secondary system disturbance failure are tested by computer simulation.The result proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the "three layers one network" scheme,which lays a good foundation for the follow-up research.Finally,the optimization scheme is applied to a pilot project of the new generation smart substation of SGCC.The rationality and applicability of the scheme are fully verified.The scheme has the practical application conditions in the field and can reduce the number of switchboards and optical fibers.It can simplify the secondary wiring of the whole station and enhance the reliability and utilization rate of the smart substation network equipment.It reduces the operation and maintenance workload of the smart substation network and reduces the construction and operation costs of the smart substation network.The application of the pilot project shows that the response speed of the substation network is obviously improved and the economic benefit is remarkable.The scheme has certain pextension value.
