Research On Product Shape Design Method Based On Gradient Theory Of Geometric Modeling Elements

The design method is the intersection of hard science and soft science.Design activities tend to focus on results.In the process of design,ideas are based on “creativity”.The analysis of creative sources is often been ignored.This work explores methods in product form design by doing research on the emotional appeal of sculptures that have received high aesthetic value.From the analysis of the formation of the article to the aesthetic value,the article divides the artistic and perceptual creative process into several design elements that are easy to learn and conceive.This article aims at the pursuit of aesthetics in the design process of product form,and takes analyzing Henry Moore’s sculptural forms and aesthetic values as the starting point,and uses the geometric modeling elements gradual change theory as the support to analyze the formation of the shape,from abstract to figurative to process the formation of the shape.In terms of aesthetic value,blending Chinese classical aesthetics,making a detailed analysis of the extensibility,guidance,and affection of sculpture works from visual psychological and cultural psychology,we summed up the influence of formal beauty and aesthetic value on product form design.By describing the conceptual elements,relationship changes,and emotional expressions in the product form prototype,a new set of product form design methods: gradient cut-off methods is introduced in this work.Finally,the design method is applied to the design of space art product.The main research proposal are as follows:Firstly,through the study of works of art,we will explore the role of artwork in the design of product forms.Establish the relevance of artwork and product form design,deconstruct the design elements in form design,and define and organize the analysis of the function of design elements.Secondly,organize the process of design elements and methods,innovate product form design methods,and establish product form design method models.Create a formal model of the boundary value to assist the design process.Thirdly,establish a product prototype and invest into design and application of conceptual space art product.
