Suspension is an important part of the chassis,its performance directly affects the drivers' driving experience.At present,there are many different suspension structures on the market,but because of the limitation of the movement principle of these suspension guide mechanism,it can not really solve the problem that the wheel alignment parameters change greatly during jounce and rebound.In this paper,the linear guided suspension is a kind of new suspension mechanism which is based on the design concept of overconstrained mechanism and the ideal constraint condition of the non-steering wheel.It has excellent wheel alignment ability and can effectively reduce the tire wear.The paper mainly completed the following work:(1)Analyze the rigid body kinematic characteristics of the suspension guidance mechanism of rectilinear suspension,and determine the design parameters such as bias frequency,static deflection and relative damping coefficient of the rectilinear rear suspension.The design and calculation of the performance and structural parameters of the main components are analyzed in detail.(2)Building rectilinear suspension and Twisted beam suspension template in ADAMS/Car.The comparison between the simulation results shows that the rectilinear independent suspension guidance mechanism can reduce the variation range of the wheel alignment parameters.For the rectilinear suspension,the lateral stiffness and the longitudinal stiffness is too small,Toe changing under the braking force is poor and other C characteristics of the parameters of sensitivity analysis and optimization are carried out.(3)Using ADAMS/Car and Isight to establish a vehicle dynamics optimization model,including McPherson front suspension and rectilinear rear suspension.Aiming at improving vehicle performance,multi-objective optimization was carried out with the design variables of the suspension consisting of spring stiffness and the damping ratio of the shock absorber and the angular stiffness of the stabilizer bar.(4)According to the test method stipulated in the national standard,the comparison experiment of the steady-state cornering and the steering wheel step input before and after the vehicle model optimization are completed in ADAMS/Car.According to the requirements of vehicle ride comfort test,the prototype of rectilinear rear suspension was assembled on the vehicle,and the ride comfort comparison test of the vehicle was carried out on the road.
