Suspension system is an important component of automobile chassis.Its K&C characteristics directly affect the stability and stability of the vehicle.It is a research hotspot in the field of automotive dynamics at home and abroad.The use of virtual prototyping technology to establish the suspension and vehicle dynamics model,simulation analysis of suspension k & C characteristics and vehicle performance can effectively shorten the development cycle,reduce the test cost and improve product quality.This paper relies on a passenger car chassis development project to use the multi-body dynamics analysis software Adams/Car to build the front McPherson suspension model,combined with the finite element analysis software Hypermesh to establish the rear torsion beam finite element model,perform modal analysis and generate Modal Neutral file,the generated neutral file is imported into Adams/car to establish the torsion beam rigid-flexible coupling model.The k & C characteristics of the suspension model under various operating conditions were simulated and analyzed.The analysis of the kinematics of the suspension involved the analysis of vertical kinematics,roll kinematics and steering kinematics.The study of elastic kinematics features simulation analysis of lateral force loading characteristics and longitudinal force loading characteristics.Refer to the k&C characteristic theory to find the characteristic parameter curve under the problematic condition,and set up the joint simulation optimization platform with the multi-objective optimization Software Isight,and find out the key hard point coordinates affecting the parameters of the front suspension k characteristic index through the sensitivity analysis.As well as the key bushing stiffness that affects the parameters of the rear suspension C-characteristics,multi-objective optimization was performed using the second-generation non-inferior sorting genetic algorithm(NSGA-II),and the k&C characteristics parameter curves before and after optimization were compared.The results showed that the optimized characteristic index all have been improved.Description The modeling,simulation and subsequent optimization of the suspension through virtual prototyping are particularly important in the development of automotive chassis.Finally,using Adams/car to establish an optimized vehicle model for multibody dynamics,and referring to GBT6322-2014 “Guidance Method for Vehicle Handling Stability”,making simulation analysis about steady-state rotation of the vehicle,the steering angle of the steering wheel step,and the steering ability of the three typical operating conditions.From the analysis of evaluation indicators such as the insufficient steering characteristics of the vehicle,roll characteristics,and yaw characteristics,it was concluded that the optimized vehicle performance was improved.The suspension K&C characteristics play an important role in vehicle performance.
