The electric vehicle industry is one of strategic emerging industry in China. The development of the EV industry has been supported strongly by the government and attracts the attention of the society. As EV technology is still in the phase of ascension, the EV market promotion effect is still not ideal. Thus, the research on EV business model popularize has an important theoretical and practical significance on the development of the EV industry.Based on the general business model framework,an EV business model framework is built.By analyzing the EV business model value orientation, value chain structure and the profit model, the relationship of bodies in the EV business model is discussed systematically.By analyzing the key factors affecting EV promotion and its action mechanism, the system dynamics model of EV promotion is built, which includes EV manufacturers module, infrastructure operators module and consumer module.Vensim is adopted to establish the model of the stock of causality diagram, flow model and the state equation. Then, according to the Logistic model, the key parameters such as vehicle population and consumer purchase ratio of simulation models with other parameters are estimated. The simulation results and the analysis of the results on different conditions show that the development of the EV market can be divided into the rapid advance stage and the steady stage, demarcation point is 10 a.At the rapid advance stage, increasing the electric car rebates and to lower the price of EVs can promote the electric car market strongly. Finally, according to the research conclusion, countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to the bodies in EV market at the rapid advance stage.
