Spatial interaction is an important phenomenon that reflects the man-land relationship and has been a core topic for a long time in related fields. However, related studies have limitations on the influence of spatial differences on spatial interaction, especially on the intra-urban scale.Although the land-use mixing degree and functions of the origination and destination have been considered in some related studies, the function differences are not directly considered as influence factors of spatial interaction. This dissertation proposes a hypothesis that the land-use function differences are direct factors that affect spatial interaction between metro stations,in which the differences both on structure and types are considered to construct a function differences index system. It is constructed with three levels of indicators corresponding to different time and direction passenger flow at station-to-station level,in which the function mixing degree of origination and destination stations is the first level indicator, the two-way and one-way function complementarity indexes are the second level and third level indicators respectively. The spatial interaction model considering function differences between metro stations are built based on the gravity model by introducing the indicators at co rresponding time and direction levels. In the end,the empirical research is conducted using Shenzhen land-use data, metro system data, and smart card data. The results show that the function mixing degree and the function complementarity indexes both are direct factors that affect spatial interaction between metro stations,in which the function mixing degree significantly influences on the overall spatial interaction intensity on weekday, and shows an apparent positive correlation. The two-way function complementarity indexes and the one-way function complementarity indexes are important factors that effect on the spatiotemporal patterns of spatial interaction between metro stations, and the correlation and influent intensity of each indicator are constantly changing in different time periods. This dissertation provides a new perspective to understand the influence factors of spatial interaction, takes the function differences as the direct influence factor of passenger flow at station-to-station level, and verifies their relationships.
