Space-based optical detection can realize fast detection,detection,identification and tracking of moving targets in wide-area air,which is of great significance to national defense security.Simulation and system performance analysis of space-based detection links for dim targets in the air can provide basic data and technical support for the design optimization of detection systems and research and verification of target detection algorithms.However,at present,our country is trying to study the theory and key technology research,and lack a complete simulation model and detection system performance analysis methods and software related to the entire space-based detection link and target detection algorithm.Aiming at this problem,this thesis carries out the research on the detectability characterization model of the target and space-based detection link simulation model.on this basis,it combines with the target detection algorithm to carry out the performance analysis of the detection system and develop the corresponding software platform.The specific contents of the research are as follows:(1)Research on the detectability characterization model of dim targets in the air.In order to solve the problem that the difference between the background radiation characteristics of small and weak targets and the surrounding environment is small,a clutter quantization model that can maximize the difference between the targets and the background is adopted,combining the image signal-clutter ratio and the target detectability evaluation parameters,we established a target detectability characterization model.Using this model,we take typical small and weak targets in the air and cloud background as examples,and carried out the detectability analysis of targets under different detection angles and detection spectrum sections,based on the analysis results,the suggestions for optimization of detection system scheme and selection of detection spectrum sections are given.(2)Based on the full link of space-based detection,taking the detection system as the breakthrough point,the particularity of space-based detection system is analyzed.And the target energy distribution under different detection systems is given through comparison,which provides the basis for the demonstration of detection system.At the same time,the signal transmission model of the detection link and the models of optical system,detector,satellite platform vibration and noise for detecting loads are established.Based on the model,the corresponding experimental verification is carried out through the simulation process,and sequence images under different detection systems and performance parameters of different detection systems are generated dynamically,which provides basic data support for performance analysis of space-based detection systems for air targets.(3)Performance analysis of space-based detection systems for typical dim air.A performance analysis plan for the detection system is developed.Combining with the classical target detection algorithm,the influence of multi-scale detection characteristics such as detection spectral resolution,spatial resolution,and radiation resolution on target detection performance is analyzed.taking typical targets and background as an example,the relationship between various detection scales and target detection performance is established by carrying out orthogonal experiments under different detection system scales,target and background conditions.The research can provide support for the optimization and design of space-based detection load and platform.(4)Development of simulation and performance analysis software for the detection link of dim air targets.The algorithm software is developed to simulate the detection link and analyze the system performance according to the aforementioned research.The software can realize the simulation and import of typical targets and background data,the detectability analysis of typical targets,the simulation of space-based detection links,and the performance analysis of the detection system.Through the test,each module of the software has strong flexibility and expandability and meets the expected functional requirements.The software can provide support for the design of space-based detection systems and the research and verification of target detection algorithms.
