Space-based moving target optical detection is a real time detection technique,based on the photoelectric detection system supported by space-based platform to detect the air moving target.This detection technique is of great significance not only to the information acquisition of the space situation but also the adjustment of military deployment in the future.The study of modeling and simulation of space-based moving target detection link and system performance can provide a theoretical guidance and scientific theoretical basis for the design of detection system,performance evaluation and the algorithm of information procession,which can greatly enhance the properties of space-based moving target detection system.However,the study of space-based detection field in China still in stage of development.Some index lacks scientific basis.This paper based on space-based moving target detection link aimed to offer support to the improvement of space-based target system design by analyzing the detectability of the target,building detection link simulation model,constructing detective performance representation model and analyzing the critical factors that influence detecting performance.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Propose detective performance representation model and methods with the view of maximizing the measure of the degree of difference for the target and the background clutter according to their physical characteristics.And Take stealth aircraft and cloud background for example,this paper analyzed their probability to be detected in different background,different view angle and detecting bands by this method.And advised on the optimal detecting bands select by experiment and analysis.(2)Analyzed the factors influence of detection performance,based on the working principle of space-based detection system and the physical mechanism of detection link.Then build a detection link simulation model to cover the whole link,which includes detection mode model,photoelectric conversion model,Modulation Transfer Function(MTF)model,system noise model and quantization physical model.The simulate image realized in different detecting system,detection mode and system parameters,etc.(3)Construct an evaluation index(RDW)according to the SNR,detection probability,false alarm probability and etc.Then analyzed the influence law of detection system parameters effect RDW,and built a representation model aimed at the complicated nonlinear relation between them in the neural network of GA-BP.And use this model to experiment and analyze the relation among transfer function,SNR,heterogeneity and detection performance.(4)Developed an Algorithm Software for the simulation of space-based moving target detection link and the performance analysis of this link.The function of this software includes retrieving and fusing target and background radiation effect dates,analyzing and evaluating system detection performance and simulating the image of space-based target detection link.It also takes software practicality and maneuverability into consideration.Put up in the modular form,each module is mutually independent,users can choose the corresponding modules to analyze and stimulate according to the task demands.It can provide support for the future experiments on the performance analysis of space-based moving target detection system.
