Research On Landscape Design Of New Chinese Style Ribbon Waterfront Park

With the process of reform and opening,China’s economic and cultural development has been flourishing,under the circumstances of the return of national consciousness and the satisfaction of Chinese people to their own original culture,works of the new Chinese style have gradually come into view.In the case studies of landscape design and academic research,the landscape of the new Chinese residential area is dominated,while other public space landscapes are rarely visited.The subject of this study is the landscape design of the ribbon waterfront park.As the definition of the new Chinese landscape concept is very vague,the author redefines the new Chinese landscape.By interpreting the evolution motives of modern Chinese landscape architecture,politics,economy and culture;we systematically sort out the evolution of new Chinese landscape;the evolution process of the new Chinese landscape is divided into the germination period,the difficult exploration period,the slow development period and the rapid development period,and the development characteristics of the new Chinese landscape are summarized.Based on the traditional Chinese garden art and combining traditional and modern art as the starting point,the design principles and techniques of the new Chinese landscape in the banding waterfront park are summarized and put forward by comparing the theories,techniques and principles of the traditional and modern design in China and abroad.The focus of this project research is the embodiment of the new Chinese style in the landscape design of the banded waterfront park.First of all,this paper analyzes the theoretical basis and design techniques related to the design of the Chinese classical gardens and the ribbon waterfront parks landscape,and proposes systematic design principles and methods based on the two.secondly,combining the construction style and actual case of the new Chinese style,this paper expounds the landscape application strategies in the strip waterfront park from the aspects of design concept,terrain design,water body design,plant configuration and architectural sketch,which aims to inherit and carry forward the essence of Chinese classical garden culture and meet the modern demand for urban public space,and provide theoretical support and design for the new Chinese style ribbon waterfront park landscape design.
