In the development and design of mechanical products,mechanical transmission system is an important part of the mechanical structure of products.With the increase of transmission methods and components,it is a complex process to choose transmission system suitable for different working requirements.The traditional design method of transmission system needs the combination and calculation of different transmission schemes according to the actual demand,so as to get the appropriate transmission scheme and reduce the design cycle of the mechanical products.In this paper,the gear reducer is used as the research object and the gear transmission mode is studied in common use.The polychromatic sets theory is applied to the gear transmission system design,and a reasonable transmission scheme is designed for different practical needs.This article mainly completes the following work:(1)The research background and method of the gear drive design system are summarized,and the idea of modularization and the polychromatic set theory are introduced into the design and research of the gear transmission system.And it introduces the application of modular thinking,polychromatic set theory and flexible model design system T-FLEX CAD in the rapid design of gear transmission system.(2)Based on the traditional design process of gear transmission system,the transmission structure of gear reducer is divided into modules,and the hierarchical structure of polychromatic sets theory is used to establish the structure tree model of function layer,method layer and scheme element layer.According to the expertise in the professional field,we determine the relationship between the nodes of the structural tree model,and establish inference matrix and constraint matrix to store relevant information.Combining the demand of the actual transmission system,the information in the corresponding matrix is searched by using the logical reasoning method of the polychromatic set theory,and the set of the transmission method is quickly deduced.The entropy weight method is used to optimize the transmission ratio and generate the route map of the transmission system;then the next step of reasoning is carried out to get the set of the transmission components of the program layer to deal with the demand.Andcombined with the reasoning model,we completed the design of gear transmission scheme selection system.(3)The flexible system of T-FLEX CAD is used todesign back-end database of gear transmission system and variable relation of component model size.And the size calculation module is realized through the establishment of the calculation formula of the dimension relation and the establishment of the relevant chart information database.The model library of gear transmission system is established to realize standardization and flexibility of the system model.(4)Taking the design of main reducer of helicopter gear transmission system as an example.It shows the application of the polychromatic sets theory and its scheme selection system and the advantages of the model base based on the fully flexible T-FLEX CAD system in the model of the gear transmission component.Based on the traditional gear transmission design process,the gear transmission system is divided into modules,Polychromatic set theory is used to configure the module,and the flexible CAD system is designed to design the parts model library.The flexible design of the gear transmission system is realized,and the development cycle is shortened.
