Heritage Cognition On Dasan Pass Section Of Shudao In Perspective Of Cultural Routes Theory

Since the end of the 20 th century,cultural routes have attracted wide attention of the international community as a new cultural heritage.In China,along with the research and practice of many cultural routes such as the Silk Roads and the Grand Canal,the Shudao Cultural Route also began to receive attention.Located on t he northernmost tip of the Shudao,Dasan Pass has been a battleground between Sichuan and Shaanxi since ancient times.However,due to the superposition of the automobile route and the railway with heritage values,the Dasan Pass section of the ancient Shudao was poorly preserved.In addition,lack of research on the heritage has made people unclear about the heritage of the Shudao.In this thesis,through the field investigation and the collection of historical data,the historical evolution of the ancient and modern times of ShuDao is sorted out,and the basic theory of the concept,overall value,integrity,and heritage identification of cultural routes was analyzed and expanded.The ShuDao is recognized based on the theory of cultural routes.The result shows that the ShuDao has not completely disappeared in the process of continuous development and evolution in the history,and the modern roads and railways have evolved on the basis of Ancient ShuDao.The ChuanShaan Highway and BaoCheng Railway can be incorporated into the heritage of ShuDao.The concept of big ShuDao,including Ancient ShuDao,ChuanShaan Highway and BaoCheng Railway,conforms to the requirement of cultural routes concept and integrity.And it is a powerful reflection of the living characteristics of the cultural lines.Therefore,it can be combined to be called "Shudao Cultural Route ".After that,the thesis studies the overall values of the Shudao Cultural Route by referring to the value evaluation criteria of the world heritage.The four overall values of the Shudao Cultural Route have been obtained:(1)Shudao Cultural Route is the witness of the unified concept and guarantee of a unified postal system in China since ancient times;(2)Shudao Cultural Route,as the main roads connecting the southwest region of China and the central plains,has a profound impact on c ultural exchanges.(3)Shudao Cultural Route is a witness to the use of advanced road building technology to overcome the complex environment in ancient China and modern times;(4)Shudao Cultural Route has a pivotal position in Chinese military history,social history and literary history,and is related to many important historical facts in China.Finally,this thesis takes the Dasan Pass section of the Shudao Cultural Route as an example to explore the historical role and heritage value of the Dasan Pass,and studies its heritage contents and the heritage setting.The results show that the inheritance of Dasan Pass is composed of three parts: Ancient Shudao,ChuanShaan Highway and BaoCheng Railway.Among them,the content of Ancient Shudao is divided into three categories: route itself,route supplies system and related heritage.The contents of Chuan Shaan Highway heritage mainly include automobile route,bridge,relevant inscriptions and villages,etc.BaoCheng Railway heritage includes lines,tunnels,bridges,stations,etc.Finally,this thesis analyzed the geographical setting,the regional setting,the natural and cultural landscape,and the related cultural relics and historic sites,and obtains the heritage setting of the Dasan Pass section of the ShuDao.
