Solar energy has become one of the most promising renewable clean energy.Solar cell welding equipment put multiple solar cells in series or parallel arrays to improve output power so that it can effectively resolve the problem of low individual cell voltages and currents.Traditional welding equipment pays too little attention to defect detecting,and defect detection method relies on the hardware device is causing the high cost.Besides,testing takes too long to keep productivity high.Furthermore,the manipulator can carry cell and put it on the place for welding.The accuracy of the cell positioning will affect the efficiency of the welding equipment,so the positioning control by manipulator determines the accuracy of cell welding.According to the situation above,the thesis studies three key technologies including manipulator position control,cell surface defect detection algorithm and surface defect detection software.The design which rooted in PLC(Programmable Logic Controller)of Mitsubishi FX3 U series can have a higher precision manipulator position controlling.It adopts visible light detection principle to lucubrate cell defect detection,and designs the software of defect detection based on modular design method.In this thesis,the defect detection system and the software of manipulator positioning control will be verified through the actual equipment platform.The research details are as follows:1)Starting from the manipulator position control design,set the manipulator position control system parameters.After introducing the working principle and structure of PLC,complete the position control of manipulator,for example the control of manipulator.Design the formats and protocols of communication between PLC and computer.2)Secondly,pretreat the cell images got from the image acquisition system.According to the different positions of the cell defects,the defects include outer edge defects and internal defects.According to the problems in existing edge detects algorithms,propose a method of judging the number of corner points to detect edge detects,for internal defects using the connected domain identification method for testing.Adopt Hough transformation for obtaining the deflection angle of the qualified cell,by acquiring a cell corner point coordinates to calculate the cell Center coordinates.3)Derived from the functional requirements of defect detection software,design image acquisition module,image processing module,test results and output modules,serial communication module and.4)Verify defects detection algorithm,and the test results show that the average detection accuracy are 96.32% and 96.3%,and the average test time is less than 500 ms,which can meet the requirements of the system detection.Use the actual equipment platform to test manipulator position control system.
