As a new manufacturing technology,3D printing technology is an additive manufacturing technology that is contrary to the traditional isometric or subtractive manufacturing technologies,which is more and more widely used in various fields.Especially in the medical field,the application of 3D printing has greatly promote the development of the medical field.From the investigation and analysis of the current related research,3D printing technology at home and abroad is mainly used in two aspects in the medical field,one is to focus on the solution proposed through professional medical knowledge;the other is the application of diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices,such as customized drugs,simulated surgery and external medical models.However,there is a lack of research from the point of view of medical and nursing equipment of serving patients,especially from the point of view of product design.Therefore,this study will focus on the ward infrastructure as an object,using the advantages and characteristics of 3D printing technology,applying the method of product design,and providing personalized and accurate medical services according to the needs of different patients and breaking the use of traditional equipment and fixed specifications.The research scope of this paper mainly focuses on the related infrastructure and equipment in the ward,which is hospital beds.In terms of research methods and design ideas,we adopt the combination of theoretical analysis and practical research,guided by personalized and customized product design methods.Through literature analysis,field investigation,experimental research and data analysis and other research means.In the theoretical research,the 3D printing technology is compared with the production flow and design method of the traditional mode of production,and carrying out in-depth study,analysis,induction and summary for the basic usage,advantages and disadvantages of the current ward equipment.The solutions and approachs differentfrom the existing ward equipment,was proposed,so as to propose personalized medical services for different patients using different hospital bed modules.In the practical research,the main equipment in the hospital ward facilities is selected as a case study,according to the use needs and the medical care needs of different patients to carry out practical research,and thus summed up the precautions of 3D printing technology used for hospital ward infrastructure and equipment,and the specific application of the design ideas and methods.From the point of view of product design practice,this project aims to enrich the theory of product design through the application of 3D printing technology to the design and manufacture of medical products,and to establish a product design method model based on 3D printing technology.Improve the traditional medical facilities,equipment limitations in terms of shape,function and usage,to explore more humane medical equipment and provide better quality medical services to hospitalized patients.
