Rapid development of vehicle will produce traffic problems,which are faced during urban development.With increase of vehicle population of Daqing city,traffic demand of Qingbei New Distric will increase,and traffic congestion of main road segments and intersections will become neckbottle of social and ecomomic development.In order to meet require of rapide urban economic development,and resovel the challenge of rapid vehicle increase,raod traffic demand forecasting is essential.Scientific and long-period road network planning is also needed so as that planning and construction of road meet the traffic demand's increase and produce good traffic environment for social development and economic increase.Based on reasonable zone division of Qingbei New Ddistric of Daqing city,resident travel characterics were analyzed.It inclues current OD,travel characteristics of residents with different ages and jobs,travel aim,travel mode and travel time.Current road conditions were analyzed and suitable analysis was conducted.Four-stage method was adopted to forecast road traffic demand of Qing Bei District of Daqing city in 2020 and 2030.Average travel time method and attraction rate method were used respectively for travel production and attraction volume prediction.System node equilibrium methed was adopted for resident travel distribution forecasting.Logit model was used for travel mode prediction.After obtaining travel volume of different aim and mode,it was converted to vehicle OD.Random user equilibrium assignment model was used for traffic assignment forecasting.Scientific planning object and procedure were determined,and reasonable road network construction and index were analyzed.Short-range and long-range planning schemes of road network layout were presented for Qingbei New District of Daqing city.Vehicle OD was assignes on planned road network and suitable evaluation was conducted.Evaluation indexes and method was given for urban road network layout,and it was applied to evaluate road network scheme of Qingbei New District of Daqing city.Calculation methoed of possible capacity of urban road section was presented considered lane wide,at-grade intersection,roadside interruption and large vehicle etc.Based on road capacity and LOS analysis,cross section plannings were conducted for arterial,sub arterial and branch road in Qingbei New District of Daqing city.Short-range and long-range plannings of intersections were conducted for Qingbei New District of Daqing city.Intersection plannings include grad-seperated junction and level-crossing.Interchange planning forms include interchange,partial interchange and separate grad crossing.Intersections with arterial and sub arterial road used signal control,which include widen approach and usual signalized intersections.
