With the continuous advancement of urbanization in China,traffic congestion has become a one of the primary problems in urban development.It is urgent to relieve the urban traffic problems,and giving priority to the development of public transportation is considered as the way to solve urban traffic problems,and maintain the urban sustainable development.In recent years,the national policy has given priority to the development of public transportation,which will inevitably lead to the overlapping of multi-line bus operating areas.Nowadays,most of the urban bus lines are dominated by full-vehicle dispatching.The method of formulating the dispatching plan is simple,and less consideration is given to the coordinated operation of bus lines.This paper selects the static bus dispatching under the overlapping sections of multi-line buses as the main research object,based on the analysis of the characteristics of overlapping sections,selects a reasonable bus dispatching and establishes two static dispatching models,combining the actual data of three bus lines in Harbin to analyze and verify,make the bus departure timetable.Firstly,this paper introduces the method of bus data survey and the form of bus vehicle scheduling,analyzes the effect of the overlapping characteristics of multi-line bus operating areas and overlapping sections on the bus network,and selects the appropriate bus vehicle scheduling form.Secondly,after determining the multi-line bus scheduling form,considering the full-vehicle scheduling and cross-vehicle scheduling,a conventional scheduling scheme and a hybrid scheduling scheme are proposed.This paper comprehensively considers the capacity limitations of bus compartments and the overlapping characteristics of operating sections.With the shortest total travel time of passengers as the optimization goal,the bus headways or schedule of each line is selected as the optimal variable,establish the overlapping sections of high-frequency bus lines static scheduling model.Finally,through the data investigation,obtain the actual data of three bus lines in Harbin,and use the genetic algorithm to solve the two static scheduling models,give the bus departure timetable and scheduling strategies.The results show that compared with the current scheduling scheme,the total passenger travel time is reduced by 5.6% and 21.4% respectively in the conventional scheduling scheme and the hybrid scheduling scheme.This paper establishes two static scheduling models under the overlap of multi-line bus operating sections,and validates the feasibility and effectiveness of the model in combination with actual data.The model overcomes the previous studies that did not consider the overlapping sections and the simultaneous coordination of multiple lines,solves the scheduling problem of multiple bus lines with overlapping sections.The research results of the dissertation can provide theoretical guidance for the public traffic management department to improve the city's regular static bus dispatching and make the bus departure timetable,and provide reference and theoretical basis for the intelligent and dynamic dispatch of public transport.
