The Application For T Dormitory Construction Of J University Project Schedule Based On DSM

With more and more attention to investment of higher education,it has ushered in an era of rapid development of subject,personnel training and International influence.Correspondingly,the level of management of infrastructure construction in universities should be more scientific and more efficient.DSM model is a complex system modeling and analysis tool,provides a simple,compact and vivid description method is more suitable to have a lot of information communication and coordination work construction unit to the project schedule.As construction's owner,the department of Infrastructure in these universities is responsible for the project management.The project management department communicates and transports information a lot during the whole life of the project in organizing,coordinating,designing,supervising the companies which test the performance of the construction.All of the department's works ensure the project completes according to the goal of schedule,quality and quantity.At present,most universities' project managers use CPM as one of the means of schedule management.CPM can be a good method to help project managers to analyze the logical relationship between the activities of each task,and analyze the key lines and key task more clearly.However,CPM has greatly ignored the impact of information flow while almost most of the project managers' work relies on these information flows.DSM provides the good solution to solve this problem.One of the biggest differences between DSM and current schedule methods is that DSM emphasizes information flows instead of workflow in the progress management,which is easy to handle overlapped operations and more convenient to solve coupling problems.So,DSM is more suitable in improving and optimizing the schedule of projects as construction's owner in UniversitiesAs being not difficult,moderate,and containing completely profession and basic functional requirements,T dormitory construction of J University project is a basic and common project in universities' projects.In this paper,T dormitory construction of J University project is regarded as the object can be more important.Through the calculation of the progress plan of this case,and based on the DSM model,the optimization measures are proposed in the information flow,excavation tasks,activities,compression potential,etc.,and further optimize the case schedule.At the same time,try to introduce incentive mechanism to promote the construction project management department to continuously improve the project management level.It also provides a new management idea for the infrastructure projects in other colleges and universities.Key words: schedule management,DSM model,information transfer,time factor,construction project,UniversityThrough the calculating the schedule,exploring the task which has potential compression,and proposing optimizations of this case based on the DSM model on information flow in this paper tries to provide a new management idea in infrastructure projects.
