The metal-plastic three-layer composite self-lubricating material made of steel back-bronze powder-plastic has high mechanical strength,good wear resistance and wide operating temperature range,which make it has a wide range of applications in bearings,bushings,guide rails and other fields.Polyimide(PI),which is one of the self-lubricating materials,has significant advantages such as high temperature resistance,low temperature resistance,corrosion resistance,good dimensional stability and machining etc...In view of the excellent performance,this paper based on the manufacture of hot press molding is to mold metal-plastic composite three-layer roller bearing that is made of steel backing-bronze powder-PI composite,Finally,the key factors affecting the manufacture of self lubricating roller bearing are analyzed,and the basis for the design and manufacture of self lubricating roller bearings is provided.The key influencing factors studied in this paper are the hot-pressing process and copper powder mesh,parameters of the hot-pressing process are molding pressure and holding time.The research method are control variables and quantitative analysis.Friction test,shear strength test,tensile strength test and hardness measurement test are used as the evaluation index of hot embossing process-molding.The comprehensive comparison of different hot-pressing process performance is to select the optimal hot-pressing process parameters for PI and metal forming.And then Based on the optimal hot-press molding process,through the steel copper composite materials of different copper mesh effect on bond performance,the bonding performance of the composites was further analyzed and improved.By comprehensively comparing the effects of different hot moulding processes on the properties of the composites,the optimum forming process parameters of composites were obtained as follows: temperature is 340?,pressure is 1t,holding time is 60 min.Through the study of the bond strengths of different copper powder mesh composites,the bonding strength of steel-copper composites with the mesh size of 150 mesh is the highest.Finally,based on the optimal hot-pressing process and the optimal copper powdermesh composite material,the structure and size of the self-lubricating roller bearing are designed,and the problems encountered in the molding process are analyzed and summarized by hot-pressing the bearing outer ring for further research on structure optimization and self lubrication of roller bearings.
