Massive consumption of energy has brought about rapid economic development as well as a large number of carbon emissions,which causes a series of environmental problems.Therefore,energy saving and emission reduction has been included in the work of Chinese government.As the three key areas of energy consumption and the main source of carbon emissions,building energy consumption will show a rigid increase with the promotion of urbanization and the improvement of living standard of residents.Therefore,under the background of carbon emission peak volume control and target decomposition in China,it is of practical significance to study the influencing factors of building energy consumption in different regions.This paper is based on the domestic and foreign research on building energy consumption and energy consumption influence factor research and take the influencing factors of urban building energy consumption in Chongqing as the research object.First,based on the literature review method,we use the existing building energy consumption calculation method to calculate the urban building energy consumption in Chongqing.Then,based on the theory of IPAT and the STIRPAT model,it makes Qualitative method to analyze population factors,urbanization rate,building area,residents consumption level,third industry development and technological factors on building energy consumption and selects the first 5 factors to build the mathematical model of the influencing factors of urban building energy consumption in Chongqing.Based on the 2005-2014-year statistical yearbook data,it selects relevant indicators to represent the influencing factors,use the least squares method and ridge regression method to model a regression analysis to determine the standard coefficient of each factor and set 8 scenarios to predict building energy consumption for 2015-2020 years.The results of the study show that:(1)The influence factors of urban building energy consumption in Chongqing are as follows: the urban resident's consumption level(28.6%),the per capita building area(23.1%),the third industry development level(21.9%),the urbanization rate(20.7%)and the total population(6.8%).(2)On the whole,richness index(73.6%)has much greater impact on building energy consumption than population factors(26.5%),it indicates that building energy consumption is closely related to the level of economic development.(3)The consumption level of urban residents has a greater impact on the energy consumption of urban buildings in Chongqing than the other 4 factors,reaching 28.6%.It shows that the improvement of residents' consumption level reflects the essence of economic growth in the index of affluence.(4)The two indicators that represent the population factors have a great difference in the impact of the building energy consumption.It is proved by the side that the energy consumption of urban buildings is caused by the increase of urban and rural structure.(5)From the results of scenario prediction,it is an important way to reduce building energy consumption by controlling the research and application of building area growth and energy consumption behavior.Finally,based on the results of the study,three suggestions are put forward.It is expected that the results of this study can provide reference for building energy conservation policies in Chongqing and building energy conservation work in the same climate zone in China.
