Compared with the traditional air spring,the air spring with adjustable volume can be adjusted by the volume of work to initiate the adjustment of the stiffness of the spring,which makes the vehicle to adapt to a wider range of road conditions and better driving performance.In this work,the air spring with adjustable volume is considered as the research object.In addition,the paper focuses on the analysis of vehicle performance matching,the design of the parameter influence law and the structural optimization by dynamic modeling,finite element simulation and multidisciplinary optimization method.Those will provide the theoretical guidance for the matching and structural design of volume adjustable air spring.The rest of the work and relevant conclusions are as follows:1)The structure and working principle of the air spring with adjustable volume are put forward,and the mathematical model of volume adjustable air spring is set up according to the dynamics of air spring and engineering thermodynamics;the factors that influence the dynamic stiffness characteristics of the spring are analyzed.The dynamic differential model of the vehicle system with volume adjustable air spring suspension is established,and the state space equation is used to represent the model.This lays the theoretical foundation for the matching design and performance simulation of the volume adjustable air spring and the performance of the vehicle.2)The input correlation between the four wheels before and after is analyzed based on the incentive mechanism of pavement unevenness,and the mathematical model of the four wheel input of the pavement excitation is set up.The simulation model of the vehicle system with volume adjustable air spring suspension is built with MATLAB/Simulink,and the effect of work volume on the vehicle driving performance is analyzed.The simulation results show that the air suspension with active volume can improve the ride comfort and operation stability of the vehicle system compared with the traditional air spring suspension.3)On the basis of theoretical research,the air spring with four gears of adjustable volume is taken as an example.Based on the material constitutive model in ABAQUS,the finite element model of air spring with adjustable volume is established by the method of rebar element,gas unit and fluid cavity.The influence of volume,air pressure and cord composite parameters on the stiffness characteristics of volume adjustable air spring is analyzed.4)Based on the multidisciplinary optimization software Isight and the finite element analysis software ABAQUS,a structure parameterized model of air spring with adjustable volume is set up to determine the optimization objective function,optimization variable and constraint condition.The sensitivity of the air spring optimization variable is analyzed,and the main parameters of the influence stress are obtained.The NCGA optimization algorithm is selected to optimize the structure of the main gas chamber of air spring with adjustable volume,and then the reliability of the results is optimized through the Monte Carlo analysis.The purpose of the optimization is achieved and the reliability of the air spring is improved.
