Modern lean shipbuilding put forward higher requirement in the forming quality of curvy hull plate.In order to guarantee the forming quality of curvy hull plate,the current research hot spot includes two directions: on the one hand,focus on the research of the high-end plate bending machine and the corresponding technology;on the other hand,focus on the research of the new quality inspection equipment and the corresponding technology for the curvy hull plate forming.At present,on the aspect of the quality inspection of curvy hull plate forming,many shipyards still mainly use the templates or mock-ups to do the model test inspection.Through the exploration and research of many experts,scholars and staffs,the adjustable template?adjustable mock-up?NC template?line heating intelligent robot?3D CNC plate bending machine and other quality inspection equipment have appeared successively,which promotes the development and innovation of the quality inspection technology for the curvy hull plate forming.In consideration that these methods above still have some problems in use and promotion,and in order to adapt to the development trends of green shipbuilding,automation and digitization better,new quality inspection methods of curvy hull plate forming are in urgent need of further study.Based on the existing surface testing technology and radar chart,the detection method of curvy hull plate forming is researched in the paper.firstly,combined with the environment of the shipyard?the feature of curvy hull plate forming and inspection?the application of new technology,and so on,IGPS is selected.Secondly,by using the electromagnetic distance measurement principle and the ultrasonic distance measurement principle comprehensively,and through improving IGPS,the new method——IGPS Two Waves Inspection Method is put forward,which uses electromagnetic wave and ultrasonic wave to inspect at the same time.Last,by expounding the theory and the formula of IGPS Two Waves Inspection Method,and using the Proteus to design and simulate the circuit,its theoretical and practical feasibility are verified.Based on above,and combined with the quality inspection feature of curvy hull plate forming and system design requirements,the paper includes two parts——the hardware design and the software design for the quality inspection system of curvy hull plate forming without mould.The hardware design includes: the structure design and working principle of the handheld positioning measuring pen?the structure design and working principle of the signal receiving device?the structure design and working principle of the signal data processing device.The software design includes: the principle and procedure of the quality inspection without mould?the error analysis theory?the theoretical point data acquisition method?the space coordinate transformation principle?the data analysis and processing optimization method?the error correction theory,and so on.At the same time,by using CATIA V5R19 to carry out the quality inspection of curvy hull plate forming without mould in virtual environments,the validity and feasibility of the IGPS Two Waves Inspection theory?the quality inspection method without mould and the data analysis and processing optimization method are verified.
