The two main operations of the Navy are surface ships and submarines.Submarine because of strong covert,flexible mobility,self-sustaining ability and raid ability,has been the focus of the development of national navy.Powering performance is an important tactical indicator of submarines.Powering performance and submarine combat effectiveness and vitality are closely related.So the design stage requires accurate and rapid forecasting.This paper referring to the ship model test forecast method,the submarine powering performance forecasting direct calculation method is divided into three parts,direct calculation method of submarine hull underwater resistance curve,direct calculation method of propeller open water performance curve and direct calculation method of submarine self-propulsion curve.The purpose of the powering performance direct calculation is to quickly and accurately predict the speed of the submarine during the design phase.Firstly,ICEM is chosen as the research platform,and the problems in the process of parameterization of different data sources are analyzed,and the algorithm is proposed.After a simple example is given to verify the correctness of the algorithm,the algorithm is applied to the submarine parametric modeling.Then,based on FLUENT,the parameter setting of direct calculation method is studied on the basis of parametric modeling of submarine,and the results are compared with the experimental results.The comparison results show that the direct calculation method has good accuracy.Finally,the 1978 ITTC standard forecast method is used for powering performance forecasting.In order to further realize the modeling parameterization,the calculation method curing and the result processing automation and the establishment of the database,the parametric modeling algorithm,the powering performance forecasting direct calculation method and the 1978 ITTC standard estimation method are compiled and encapsulated by the development platform QT,and the submarine rapid forecasting software HUSTMPR is developed.The SUBOFF and DTMB-4119 propellers are used as examples to verify the accuracy and feasibility of the software program.
