| With the enhancement of people’s living standard and the development of automobile industry, automobiles have become a necessary traffic tool in people’s life. However, the problem of frosted windscreens caused by the weather has influenced not only the comfort of the ride but also the driving safety. Therefore, the defrost ability of the air conditioner in the automobile is a very important index, and the research on which has been a major project in many auto-manufacturers.The CFD method was used in this study to test the defrosting effect of the air conditioner vents in cars of a certain brand. And the defrosting effect on the windscreen was simulated,a model of the vents and the car was built, and the software was used to simulate the air flow in it,after which, the vectogram of the simulated defrosting effect and the air flow could be obtained. The dissertation analyzed the vectogram of the simulated defrosting effect and the air flow got from the simulation to learn the distribution of the velocity field, the flow distribution at the air outlets and the deicing performance.Against the shortcomings, the structure of the vents was optimized many times to improve the original one.The use of CFD to improve the defrosting effect of the air conditioner in automobiles has simplifies the process of the real vehicle experiment and verified the feasibility of CFD in engineering application, which also offers reference to the use of CFD method for engineering application. |
