Modern warfare is the confrontation of comprehensive strengths such as technical equipment and advanced weapons.A preview of the battle is usually performed beforehand before a real war or a exercise.The battlefield visualization system emerges as a powerful tool for battle commanders to make battlefield planning.It can grasp the battlefield conditions in real time and is conducive to making operational instructions.The vivid representation of the battlefield elements is the main research content of the battlefield visualization system.The battlefield visualization system includes two-dimension and three-dimension.The three-dimensional military making and scene matching are the major content to display.This project is based on a military simulation,and the job of this thesis includes the research and innovation on the rendering of three-dimensional irregular military symbol,scene matching and the special effects of model military symbol.This thesis studies the method of generating the irregular military symbol of arrows,and comes up with an algorithm for curve arrows symbol and clamp arrows symbol marking based on Bezier curve control points.This method provides a reference for the generation of irregular military marks of arrows.Military symbol with different tactical meanings require specific algorithms to be generated.The scheme of matching military arrows and terrain was studied.This article discusses a method that reduces certain control points which are less affect the movement of irregular military symbol.The inflection points are taken as the key point from scatter points which were collected.Then it is the key point to find the concave and convex points of the elevation curve.Finally,the accuracy of the match between arrows and terrain to achieve by controlling the separation distance of the arrow.This method is suitable for the situation that elements with low matching precision in large scene.And can achieve balance in the matching effect and rate.This thesis provides a method that points matching for the model military symbol.The collision detection method was used to achieve the matching with the terrain for the model military symbol by the key points.This method is suitable for the matching of the terrain and model which are geometrically regular.This thesis studies the method that the effect of model military symbol,taking the effect of tank vehicle's rut as an example.Firstly,the related concepts of rut was introduced and the method of drawing the rut of quadrilateral is given,then make a test for this method.This method is suitable for the processing of wake effect of model military symbol,and can improve the visualization effect of model military symbol.
