Research On The Status Quo, Problems And Strategies Of People's Livelihood In Han Chang'an City

The construction of urban and rural areas accompanied by rapid urbanization makes the obvious contradiction between the protection of cultural heritage,especially those located in the regions where human economic activities are concentrated,and the development of the people's livelihood in the areas where they live.The livelihood of Han Chang'an City which is the prominent representative of the Great Site of China has been difficult to be properly solved for many years.In recent years,with the successful application of the Weiyang Palace(one of the starting points of the Silk Road)in Han Chang'an City as the World Heritage Site and the impact of Xi'an city's urban expansion on the villages and towns in the site area,there is a trend of differential development in 45 villages existing in the Sites of Han Chang'an City.However,it is obviously difficult for scholars to deal with the new problems and complicated interests and contradictions in various villages and towns.Thus,the author pays attention to the livelihood of Han Chang'an Site.The author masters a large amount of social and economic data and participats in the important theoretical research project of Shanxi Province's social science community "Research on the Synergy between the Protection of Han Chang'an ruins and the Development of people's livelihood based on Community participation".In view of the livelihood problems existing in various villages and towns in the site area of Han Chang'an,such as "time consumption,increasing complexity and apparent differences",this thesis makes a comparative study on the typical villages and towns in Han Chang'an City.The thesis is guided by the coordination between the protection of the great ruins and the development of the people's livelihood.The thesis adopts “urban and rural planning,sociology,economics,human geography and other relevant theories” and “partition studies,comparative studies,multi-scale zoom analysis and other multivariate methods”.The author makes a systematic evaluation of the current situation and the exploration of diversified modes of coordination between the protection of the ruins and the development of the people's livelihood in various villages and towns.The main contents of this thesis :(1)The author systematically combines and summarizes the research on the large cultural heritage,the great ruins of China and the people's livelihood in Han Chang'an in recent years.(2)Combined with the literature study and investigation of Han Chang'an ruins,aiming at the new problems faced by the livelihood development of Han Chang'an ruins,the author analyzes the types of unrelocated villages in Han Chang'an ruins and selects typical villages.(3)Based on Maslow's hierarchy of demand theory,the author constructs the structure of measuring the needs of residents of different types of villages' livelihood development,and designs the index system and satisfaction evaluation system of different types of needs of residents in Han Chang'an site.(4)Based on the method of multi-scale zoom analysis,the author analyzes the reasons for the livelihood of different types of villages in Han Chang'an City from different scales such as macroscopical,meso-microcosmic and so on,and analyzes the influence factors of different scales.Adaptive countermeasures are put forward.(5)Based on the analysis results and reasons of different types of villages' livelihood development in Han Chang'an City,the author explores the rural revitalization strategy of the five typical villages in accordance with the coordination between the protection of great ruins and the development of people's livelihood.
