As an extreme scientific experimental condition,high magnetic field has a very important application in materials science,biomedicine,physics and other fields.High magnetic field can be further divided into steady magnetic field and pulsed high magnetic field.Because the pulse width of the magnetic field is short,the power consumption and heat of the magnet are greatly relieved,and the analysis design is relatively simple,the cost is low,the operation is easy,and the maintenance is simple.Therefore,the pulse magnetic field has been developed rapidly.It has become one of the important experimental tools in the modern scientific research,and all kinds depend on the pulse intensity.The scientific experiment in the field has been developed rapidly.With the deepening and development of these scientific research,a higher update requirement is put forward for the pulse strong magnetic field technology.The high repetition rate has become the core trend of the development of the pulse magnetic field technology,and the characteristic of the pulse magnet is more complex under such conditions.Therefore,it is urgent to develop the research on this field.This paper focuses on the research goals of high field strength and high repetition frequency,and studies the mechanical and thermal aspects of the magnets.First,the advantages and disadvantages of the existing magnets are compared and analyzed,and the final Polyhelix magnet scheme is determined.Then,based on the mechanical properties of the magnets,the peak magnetic field of the most serious force is taken as the analysis target.It is discussed how to make the stress distribution more uniform and the control method of the axial electromagnetic load is put forward.In the study of the thermal behavior of the magnets,the temperature distribution and change law of the magnets are emphatically analyzed.Compared with the thermal insulation of the traditional magnets,the cooling performance of the multi spiral magnets strengthened by the free separation structure is analyzed.The results show that it meets the requirements of the high frequency of the magnetic field.The test parts of the magnet have been developed,and the key technology in the process of making the magnet is solved.The test results are analyzed and the future work is prospected.
