Urban residential area,which is the basic need for people living in the city,plays an important role in people's life.With the rapid development of the city,some new demands and concept come into being,making the demands to the environment of the residential area improved gradually.In the face of the bad effect of the increasing worsen environment,people are trying to get rid of the worsening environment.So the new demands to the construction of residential area need improving.The ecological concept is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and entering the cities and communities at a rapid speed.Ecological landscape can well meet people's new requirements for urban residential areas,which is being accepted by people.This article has consulted a large number of documents and has a certain understanding of the development of ecological landscape at home and abroad,on which base it analysed the residential area in Shijiazhuang.Xishan villa district is used as a case to analyse some design ideas,the usage of some technology as well as the necessity of the design in theory and practice.Apart from the deep analyses to the situation of the current ecological landscape construction in Shijiazhuang,the connection between the ecological landscape and the residents is also analysed.Ecology being a state of harmony,residents play an essential part in ecological construction.It the effect truly functions well in residential areas,the lives of them can better fit in with the surroundings of the district.The good interaction between the two will be the best state of ecological landscape development.
