China is an earthquake-prone country.Earthquakes cause huge damage to property and people.Many earthquake disasters are caused by the destruction and collapse of buildings.In particular,there are many small and medium-sized school buildings and civilian houses that have brick-concrete structures in our country.The earthquake resistance is poor.The practice of seismic evaluation and reinforcement of buildings and experiences of seismic damage have shown that reasonable seismic evaluation of existing buildings and appropriate countermeasures for buildings that do not meet the seismic requirements are important ways to reduce earthquake disasters.Therefore,this paper introduces the reliability as a characterization index and conducts a study on the evaluation of earthquake resistance of masonry structures.This study describes the earthquake-resistant mechanism of brick-concrete structures,analyzes the seismic strengths and weaknesses of brick-concrete structures,and understands the requirements of seismic design.It combs the traditional seismic identification methods of brick-concrete structures and clarifies the establishment of brick-concrete structures based on the basic theory of reliability.A rapid assessment method of earthquake resistance and use of a functional function to calculate the reliability evaluation index against earthquakes.In addition,the seismic damage characteristics of brick-concrete structures and the factors that affect the seismic reliability of brick-concrete structures are also analyzed.This paper aims at the anti-seismic detection and appraisal of a middle school brick-concrete teaching building.After collating the appraisal report and analyzing the appraisal result,the reliability of each floor of the structure is calculated,and the minimum reliability of the floor is used as the reliability index of the system to evaluate its seismic capability.By comparing the results of the reliability analysis and the seismic detection and identification methods,the feasibility of the reliability index in assessing the seismic performance of brick-concrete structures was verified.In order to gain a deeper understanding of the factors affecting the structural reliability index,the 50 brick-concrete structures in Kunming have been collected as analysis samples.The modeling calculations have been performed using PKPM software to analyze the structural reliability and obtain the average reliability.On this basis,this paper also refers to the FEMA154 rapid evaluation method for building earthquake resistance,mainly considering the impact of mortar strength,structural columns and ring beams on the system reliability and analysis,for this purpose to establish the quick assessment method of the seismic capacity of the brick-concrete structure.
