In recent years,BIM as a new technology,and with its widespread use in the construction industry in our country,has achieved some success,it has been tried to refer to the infrastructure projects,and as the bridge structure is increasingly complex and novel,so that the bridge In the design phase and construction phase is prone to a series of problems.Compared with traditional CAD design methods,BIM technology can creatively create a 3D model of complete project information.In this paper,a BIM model with complete engineering information is established for the swivel construction of a neighboring continuous girder bridge.The application of BIM technology in the construction of such bridges is studied,such as visualization of bridge model,construction simulation,schedule management Etc.,and use of BIM technology to solve the problems in bridge construction to reduce unnecessary waste,compared with the traditional construction methods,BIM bridge construction has brought great advantages and convenience.The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:(1)Summarizes the current situation of BIM in various industries at home and abroad,and describes the characteristics of the required software.(2)The characteristics of BIM technology applied in all stages of bridge engineering are summarized.The application process of BIM in bridge construction and BIM application framework based on bridge structure model and BIM application framework based on bridge construction model are proposed.(3)Taking a neighboring continuous girder bridge with existing lines as an example,this paper studies how to use Revit software to build a BIM structure model that contains complete project information,such as component materials,the number of dimensions,project locations and so on,and adds construction information based on the structural model to create BIM construction model.(4)The Navisworks software is used to conduct collision detection of the BIM information model of thecontinuous box girder bridge,simulation of key construction processes and schedule management of 4D construction.The application of BIM technology in thiscontinuous box girder bridge example can provide reference for other projects.
