Research On Fractal Phenomenon In The Form Of Structuralism Architecture

The purpose of this paper is to introduce and analyze the fractal phenomena m anifested in structuralism,through the structural phenomena of structural architectura l architecture,the fractal phenomena in structural architectural forms and the theory behind them,and the associated architectural practices of structural architects.Ther efore,this phenomenon in structuralism is more reasonable and clearly discussed.St ructuralism,as a trend of thought in the contemporary philosophical world,has cau sed a great deal of discussion,and the structuralism that emerged from it has beco me the backbone of anti-functionalist architecture.The structuralist architectural theo ry is guided by structuralist linguistics and structuralist anthropology.While satisfyin g the functional requirements of architecture,it also includes the consideration of h uman and human social structures,and takes a holistic view and a systematic view to examine buildings,focusing on architecture.The relationship between structural elements,emphasizing human factors in architecture,has played a pivotal role in co ntemporary architecture.Structuralist architectural theory,as an outstanding represent ative of the humanist architectural theory,can provide contemporary architects with new ideas and methods.The structuralism reflects the relationship between the system and the elements,and causes the fractal shape of the architectural form.The thinking of the main st ructure and the secondary structure in the architectural design theory and the consid eration of the principles of architectural design also correspond to the iterative rules in fractal geometry.Fractal geometry,as the branch of science that has become in creasingly prominent today,is constantly influencing every aspect of the world.The new epistemology it embodies has given us new research methods for the world a nd has also contributed to our new world view.This paper takes the architectural f orm as the starting point of structuralist research,and points out the fractal features it has.Through the study of various theoretical viewpoints in structuralist architect ure,the fundamental reason for this fractal phenomenon in structural architecture is found out.This article is divided into six chapters and four parts.The first part(Chapter1 and Chapter 2)mainly introduces the topic proposed in this paper,the purpose and significance of the research,the research status at home and abroad,the content framework and goals of the research,the structural theory of structuralism,and the basic theory of fractal geometry for the readers.The popularity of relevant content is to facilitate the understanding of the relevant sections that follow.The second p art(Chapter 3)will systematically classify structuralist architectural forms to enable readers to understand the structural characteristics of structuralist architecture.The t hird part(Chapter 4 and Chapter 5)explores the fractal phenomena that are manife sted in structuralist architectural forms and studies the theoretical causes of this frac tal phenomenon.In the fourth part(Chapter 6),taking the world view as the point of departure,we analyzed the similarities between the structuralist theory and fract al geometry in the research object,research purpose and way of thinking,and furth er strengthened the conclusions obtained in the previous article to show the readers The appearance of fractal phenomena in structuralism is by no means accidental.
