Nowsdays,urban rail transit plays an important role in relieving traffic congestion in large and medium-sized cities because of its characteristics of fast,punctual,convenient and bigtraffic-volume.The selection of urban rail transit vehicles is an important factor in determining the scale of urban rail transit development,the size of project investment,and the level of service,affecting the gauge,communication and signal equipment and facilities,traction and power supply equipment,construction difficulty and engineering quantity of the interval and station.It determines the train formation plan and train operation plan.So it's very critical to choose the right type of urban rail transit vehicle.Vehicle selection is a complex and systematic problem.In the current engineering practice,the maximum section passenger flow at peak hours is usually used to select the type based on the principle that the vehicle capacity meets the demand of passenger flow.However,the train capacity is not only limited by the type of vehicle,but also closely related to the train formation,the frequency of train departure and the density of stand passengers in the carriage.Therefore,this paper starts developing vehicle selection research from the demand of passenger flow,based on the perspective of energy saving and passenger-oriented services,taking the most common A and B vehicles as an example.Firstly,the contradiction between supply and demand of vehicle selection of urban rail transit is analyzed in this paper.The main factors of the selection of urban rail transit vehicles are analyzed,as well as the selection of vehicle standard is the precondition of vehicle type selection is proposed.The paper draws up the difficulties in the selection of current vehicle type.The unbalanced distribution characteristics of urban rail transit passenger flow in time and space dimensions are analyzed,based on this characteristic,it analyzes the impact of different vehicle types,formations and train transportation plans on passengers and operators.The paper analyzes the contradiction between supply and demand of passenger side and the operator in the vehicle selection problem,points out that the essence of the vehicle selection based on energy saving and service of passenger is the game between the passengers and the operators under the different vehicle selection schemes,and then establishes the basic objective function.Secondly,the passenger travel cost is analyzed and modeled for vehicle selection problem.The specific behavior characteristics of passengers in urban rail transit system are analyzed,and the passenger waiting behavior and traffic behavior are analyzed in detail according to the contents of this paper.The cost of passenger waiting time is analyzed and established.The change rules of passenger crowded cost are analyzed,then the passenger comfort degree model and passenger crowded cost model are established.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the cost of traction energy consumption for vehicle selection.The operation cost of urban rail transit system is systematically analyzed.According to the specific problem of vehicle selection in this paper,the train traction energy consumption is selected as the main operating cost index.The main factors affecting the train traction energy consumption are screened and analyzed.The relationships between the total quality of trains,the number of passengers,the capacity rate,the density of stand passengers,the interval time of train departure,the frequency of train departure and the traction energy consumption are analyzed under the conditions that the train is unloaded,the passenger demand is not considered and the passenger demand is constant.Then,the vehicle selection model of urban rail transit based on energy saving and service of passenger is established and solved.This paper introduces the idea of modeling and points out that it is a single objective optimization model for the minimum total cost of urban rail transit system,which is the decision variable of urban rail traffic type,train formation plan,and the interval time of morning climax,common and evening climax.Under the assumption of this model,we set up the objective function and set the constraint conditions,and finally establish the total model.The passenger flow prediction data is adjusted to adapt to this model for that the existing passenger flow prediction data do not match the input of this model.The method of programming and the concept of ergodicity are determined to solve every feasible solution of the problem,and then the best solution is selected to solve the problem.Finally,the vehicle selection model built in this paper is applied based on Xi'an Metro Line 6.
