Study On The Design Of Home Gateway Based On ZigBee Home Network And Internet Protocol

With the development of Intelligent Home,increasing number of family used devices should be connected with Ethernet,so the designation and unified internet access service of gateway for family is necessary.With the function of wireless application,Zigbee technology can satisfy some demand for data communication such as the high speed,so the research on wireless transducer has been applied widely.The aim of our designation for family gateway is based on Zigbee family network and Internet protocol transfer,and the test on the interconnection of network will be included.This article first makes a brief overview of smart home system,and introduces the development status of smart home at home and abroad.Secondly,the technical characteristics of ZigBee wireless communication technology are summarized,the network extension structure and the overall architecture structure of zig bee protocol stack are analyzed,then the overall design of gateway system is introduced,and the implementation method of gateway system is elaborated.in terms of system hardware design,cc 2430,which supports ZigBee application and has an 8-bit 8051 microcontroller kernel with enhanced industrial standards,is selected as the core chip of the gateway.Rtl 8019 as chip is selected as Ethernet control chip and MC 323 module as GPRS transmission module.And design necessary peripheral circuits for each chip and JTAG programming interface to complete the hardware design of home gateway.On the software side,by compiling functions such as chip initialization,serial port transceiving and wireless transceiving control,ZigBee network data and internet data format conversion can be realized,and data transmission can be completed.At last,the test scheme for the intelligent home system will be proposed,and the system built by us will be tested in practice and analyzed to get the results.The experimental results show that the family gateway can achieve the interconnect between ZigBee network and Internet and the data transmission will be stable and reliable.The desired aims can be achieved,and the thinking way is proved reasonable.
