System Design And Implementation Of Home Furnishing Under The Control Of The Intelligent ZigBee Gateway

With the improvement of people’s material and cultural living standards, people’s requirements for the home environment are also increasing. People need not only beautiful interior design, they also have a vision and outlook for intelligent home environment. The rapid development of information technology and the rapid popularization of network technology are both brought unprecedented opportunities for the realization and development of intelligent home. Home life has become an inevitable trend towards intelligent.According to the traditional home’s existed shortcomings of complex networking gateway, difficulting to manage multi home terminals, a single gateway features, integrated module and the poor separation, expensive and impractical and so on, this paper gived a study to intelligent gateway platform based on ARM microcontroller and Zig Bee coordinator with the Zig Bee wireless communication technology’s application in smart home,after the analysis of the basis for the development of smart home system status quo at home and abroad. The platform build a smart home system by adding home node in a smart way.And at the same time the system integrated GSM alarm and WIFI module at the gateway to complete the lighting, curtains, access control, security and other types of home control and security of mobile terminals. Through this way we can design a separate smart home system which can be easily and quickly built, with the lowest cost, manpower, resources and the easiest operation to realize people’s dream of a smart home.Paper firstly introduces the research background and the home and abroad development of present situation of the subject of smart home, followed by the selection and demonstration of the solutions of smart home system. By comparing several mainstream technology in the field of home, we selected Zig Bee wireless communication technology as the networking technology of the system’s family network, and the embedded Cotex-A8 platform as the intelligent gateway system platform tobe implemented. Then it gived a general introduction to the mechanism of intelligent algorithm to add equipment and the key technologies of intelligent gateway, including Zig Bee network protocol and Andriod monitoring system, which the last part is the overall system’s implementation of hardware and software. Hardware design focused on the design of embedded ARM platform which integrated the Zig Bee coordinator, the Wi Fi communications gateway module and the GSM alarm module, followed by the design of Zig Bee home terminal module. The system’s software design is focused on the intelligent gateway platform’s algorithm mechanism of adding a equipment, where need the completion of Zig Bee’s protocols of adding in a network and the multi-tasking capacity of Android System built on the gateway. In addition, the software design also includes a design of database management on the gateway, a design of mobile client and a intelligent alarming system.
